Transoplast offers an extensive range of plastic pallet boxes that can be equipped with a hopper bottom. Of course, we select pallet boxes from product lines that have already proven their qualities in logistics. By equipping these pallet boxes with a hopper bottom, a robust and reliable pallet box with bottom discharge is created. The size of the opening can be varied. We provide the following standard openings:

– 120 x 120 mm

– 140 x 140 mm

The opening is closed with a sliding valve, made entirely of plastic. By default, this valve is located on the short side of the box.

Available sizes

Our pallet boxes with bottom discharge are standardly available in different sizes to meet various needs:

• 1200 x 1000 mm
• 1200 x 800 mm
• 1000 x 600 mm

The height of the pallet boxes varies standardly between 660 mm and 1770 mm. Because our assembly department can also lower pallet boxes or assemble them into DUO or TRIO boxes (i.e., welded on top of each other), we are quite flexible regarding the height.

Features and advantages

Foodgrade plastic

Our hopper-bottom pallet boxes are made of foodgrade plastic (usually PE), meaning they are suitable for direct contact with food.

Stackability

Thanks to their design, our pallet boxes are stackable, providing significant space savings in both storage and transport. This maximizes the efficiency of your logistics processes.

Efficiency

Because (large-size) pallet boxes can be emptied without tipping, a particularly efficient workflow is created. During emptying, precise dosing is also possible. This is especially functional and effective when box contents must be emptied accurately and in portions.

Cost savings

Our hopper-bottom pallet boxes are a cost-efficient alternative to traditional steel dosing systems with a hopper bottom. By choosing corrosion-free plastic, you avoid higher purchase costs and also benefit from lower maintenance and cleaning costs.

Easy cleaning

Thanks to the smooth surface of the plastic material and the corrosion-free weld seams, our pallet boxes are easy to clean and maintain. This prevents the accumulation of dirt and bacteria and ensures optimal hygiene.

Mobility

Optionally, our pallet boxes can be supplied as a mobile variant with different wheel options, for extra mobility and flexibility in your warehouse or production environment.

Not suitable for liquids

It is important to note that our pallet boxes with hopper bottoms are not suitable for applications with liquids.

Applications and use

Our plastic pallet boxes with hopper bottoms are ideal for a wide range of applications, including the storage, transport, and controlled emptying of dry bulk goods such as granules, components, semi-finished products, seeds, nuts, and animal feed.

Customization

In addition to standard versions, Transoplast also delivers customized solutions. Plastic pallet boxes can be equipped with a custom bottom discharge or produced in a non-standard size.
