Why is a foldable pallet box a smart choice?

The folding principle achieves space savings of up to 70% and therefore results in significant cost savings during empty storage and return transport. In addition, the foldable pallet box is a smart choice in terms of maintenance. The side walls, loading doors and pallet runners are available separately. In the event of damage, only the defective part needs to be replaced. This can even be done without special tools. Foldable pallet boxes can therefore be repaired quickly at relatively low cost.

Buying a foldable pallet box: Which type is the best choice?

We supply foldable pallet boxes of the type MAGNUM and MAGNUM Optimum and additionally the Smartbox. Which type is most suitable? That depends on the environment and the application in which the foldable pallet box is used. The type of product stored in the pallet box also influences the choice.

MAGNUM Optimum

The MAGNUM Optimum 1200 x 1000 mm and 1200×800 mm have all the qualities required for the transport of non-food products. The foldable pallet box is lightweight, has a large internal volume, is heavy-duty and stable thanks to the welded wall construction. The MAGNUM Optimum has smooth, flat walls and is therefore easy to clean. The folded height of the MAGNUM Optimum is only 325 mm and when stacked only 295 mm.

The food sector and the pharmaceutical industry are also major users of the MAGNUM Optimum. Liner bags are used to completely shield the contents. An important argument for these sectors is the easy cleaning and hygiene of the MAGNUM Optimum folding boxes.

Optiframes for MAGNUM Optimum.

Unique to the MAGNUM Optimum is the possibility to increase the height of the box. This is possible in steps of 105 mm and is achieved using Optiframes. These plastic extension frames can easily be placed between the pallet base and the foldable walls. A maximum of 3 Optiframes can be used per box. The Optiframe is an excellent product to realise a degree of customisation. We are happy to arrange this for you upon delivery; but it can also be done at a later stage.

MAGNUM

The MAGNUM box (800×600 mm) has proven itself as a foldable mini pallet box. This generation of pallet boxes is characterised by robustness and a long service life – even with intensive and long-term use. When folded, the boxes achieve space savings of up to 55% and thus realise significant cost savings during storage and return transport. MAGNUM foldable pallet box is available in the dimension 800 x 600 mm – and in multiple heights. It is used in both the non-food sector and the food sector in combination with liners.

Smartbox

The Smartbox is also a foldable pallet box that is widely used. Industrial logistics is a well-known user of these robust pallet boxes with foldable walls. They are heavy-duty and extremely durable in use. When folded, these foldable pallet boxes save space – both during transport and empty storage. As the boxes are entirely produced in food-proof plastic, they are also widely used in the food sector.
