Product features

The basis for this DUO box is the robust CB3 High pallet box. This large-format pallet box mainly derives its qualities from its construction. The CB3 High is injection-moulded in one piece, with the box and pallet section forming a single unit, without any attached parts. Thanks to this monobloc construction, the CB3 High is exceptionally strong and particularly suitable for custom-made XL formats. After all, stability must be guaranteed. Because an XL box in DUO format has to withstand heavy loads, the impact resistance of the box is also extremely important. This is ensured by the heavily ribbed buffer zone above the entry opening. This impact zone is fitted all around the box and serves as collision protection to prevent damage caused by impacts from, for example, forklift trucks. This is especially important for heavily loaded boxes that are also stacked.

Composition

This XL-size pallet box is composed of two plastic pallet boxes of the CB3 High type with a base size of 1200 × 1000 mm. Both boxes are divided, then connected with welded-in PE plates and finally welded internally. This creates a solid pallet box with dimensions of 1600 x 1000 x H 1140 mm, perfectly equipped for loading with large volumes and heavy loads.

Alternative sizes

This CB3 High in DUO version is available in alternative length sizes. The length can vary from 1360 mm to a maximum of 2070 mm. In addition, this box is also available in a DUO extra-wide version. In this version, the CB3 High is made wider. The widths vary from 1090 mm to 1750 mm. The result is extra-wide boxes with dimensions ranging from 1200 x 1090 x H 1140 mm to 1200 x 1750 x H 1140 mm. For boxes in alternative XL formats, black PE coupling pieces are usually welded in, as with this size. This creates an almost indestructible connection and ultimately a pallet box with a long service life.

The sectors in which XL-size pallet boxes are used are very diverse. In all cases, however, they are intended for the storage or transport of long goods or bulky goods.
