Robust plastic stacking crate / bicycle crate / asparagus crate in Euronorm format (400 x 300 x H 273 mm - 26.3 liter). Finished in grey and fitted with closed side walls and a finely perforated, reinforced base.

Application

This stacking crate is particularly suitable for use as a bicycle crate on a transport rack or front carrier. With a capacity of 26.3 liter, the crate provides ample space for shopping, school and work items, sports equipment and other everyday essentials. Thanks to its compact format and low weight, the bicycle crate is also suitable for children’s bicycles.

The crate is made from plastic and is therefore considerably lighter than bicycle crates made from steel, wood or woven wicker. This makes cycling and steering more comfortable. Plastic is also highly resistant to different weather conditions and therefore very suitable for daily outdoor use.

In asparagus cultivation, this version is widely used as a harvesting crate when cutting asparagus. The perforated base allows moisture and excess sand to drain away easily, while the smooth walls help prevent damage to the delicate asparagus. A practical carrying handle is available as an accessory for this application. It is fitted into the openings in the upper rim.

Product details

The base of the crate is reinforced with a diamond-shaped structure and remains dimensionally stable even under heavier loads. The fine perforations in the base allow water to drain away easily. The closed side walls protect the contents and prevent smaller products from falling out or protruding from the crate.

The stacking crate is made from food-safe plastic. Thanks to its Euronorm base dimensions of 400 x 300 mm, the crate can also be easily combined with other standardised logistics equipment.

When used as a bicycle crate, the stacking crate can be easily attached to a suitable transport rack or front carrier using cable ties.
