Description
Plastic pallet boxes are often emptied using a tipping device (rotating ring or rotator) mounted on a forklift. When a tipping device is used, the pallet box is rotated sideways and turned upside down. Depending on the support provided by the tipping device, the pallet skids are subjected to considerable additional load in this position. For BIG BOX pallet boxes (with clip-on pallet skids), we therefore recommend fitting carriage bolts with locking nuts at all four corners of the box. This secures the skids firmly to the body of the box and prevents them from coming loose unintentionally.
M10 x 120 mm carriage bolts with nuts are fitted to BIG BOX plastic pallet boxes 1200 x 800 mm with skids.
