Our ESD pallet lids—made from electrically conductive material - are designed to prevent electrostatic build-up and subsequent discharge. This helps avoid damage to sensitive electronics. For correct performance, our ESD pallet lids must be combined with plastic pallets and stackable bins that are also made from electrically conductive material. The entire unit load must be conductive - from the top all the way down to the floor.

The 800 × 600 mm ESD pallet lid is designed to centre Euro standard bins on a D2 pallet (ESD version). A D2 pallet can hold 2 bins of 600 × 400 mm per layer. The pallet lid fits fully over these bins. Because the lid closes perfectly, it creates a stable transport unit. Using this pallet lid allows a next pallet to be stacked on top. Centring rims on both short sides of the pallet lid secure the stacked pallet. This enables multiple pallet units to be stacked stably on top of each other without sliding.

The pallet cover features integrated strips for banding - both lengthwise and crosswise. This makes it easy to secure the pallet load even further with lashing straps.

In principle, the ESD pallet cover is combined with Euro standard bins in ESD version and the matching ESD pallet type D2. In this way, a unit load is created in which all safety aspects are considered - both load security and product safety.
