Latched BIG BOX pallet box – 1200 × 1000 mm – with hinged lid (also lockable) – on 4 feet – (gritting salt bin)

The BIG BOX plastic pallet box 1200 × 1000 × H800 mm (with lid) is a robust and versatile solution for storage and transport. Thanks to the closed, convex walls, this box offers up to 10% more internal volume than standard pallet boxes without taking up extra floor space. With a capacity of 670 litre and a reinforced base, it is suitable for both heavy and light-duty applications.

The pallet box is liquid-tight and fitted with 4 feet, allowing stable handling with a forklift truck or pallet truck. The hinged lid features a hook-in flip-over safety catch and can be removed when opened horizontally (180°). For extra ease of use, the lid has a handle on top. The two stainless-steel hinges ensure a long service life.

The box is made from high-quality HDPE, resistant to temperatures from -30°C to +40°C (short-term up to +90°C) and suitable for direct contact with food. This makes it widely used in the food industry, but also in other sectors such as chemicals, logistics, agriculture and for storing gritting salt.

Stainless-steel toggle latches

This BIG BOX pallet box is latched with two stainless-steel toggle latches (adjustable, L115–125 mm). The latches are robust, corrosion-resistant and designed for intensive use. Thanks to the adjustability, they always close tightly and securely, even after prolonged use.

The latches are lockable. A padlock can be used for this purpose (not included). This offers a practical solution where the contents need to be securely closed or protected, for example when storing valuable goods, hazardous substances or food.
