The construction
Ventilation crate in a fully perforated design - both walls and base.
The stacking crate is finely perforated (5 mm - honeycomb pattern) across the entire surface, without wide rib structures that could obstruct optimal ventilation. In addition, the usable internal height is limited to 47 mm - allowing the contents to ventilate, dry or cool effectively.
The crate has a so-called slatted base design, with raised corners. Combined with the feet on the underside, this creates a 70 mm ventilation gap between stacked crates. Ideal for good air circulation and an optimal drying or cooling process.

The application
Ventilation crates or drying crates are used to allow goods to ventilate and dry in a controlled manner - without pressure being applied to them. Due to the limited usable height (47 mm), this pressure is also not caused by the contents themselves. Ventilation crates are often used for foodstuffs. That is why the crate is made in food-safe quality. Thanks to its generous dimensions, larger volumes can be handled efficiently. The reinforced base construction allows this without any problems.

The crate is also used for cooling or defrosting and, in some cases, for freezing bulky or large products. Good air circulation is important for this; while the plastic used (freezer-resistant HDPE) allows this without any problems. Due to the continuous perforation, the contact surface with the contents is minimal, which limits freezing-on and makes it easy to release the contents. The stable corner construction allows controlled emptying without difficulty.
