The construction and size

With its height of 580 mm, the CB3 Low pallet box is the lower version of our standard CB3 pallet box (H 740 mm). The Low version has an extra-reinforced base structure, making it ideal for applications with particularly heavy products. Pressure-sensitive and fragile products such as pears and other fruit can also be handled without any problems with the CB3 Low. Pressure damage to the contents caused by a flexing base during forklift transport is therefore not an issue. Our CB3 Low keeps its back straight and protects the contents. The CB3 Low is also injection-moulded in one piece, with the box and base forming a single unit. This is another reason why the CB3 Low is extremely robust. This is crucial when the box is used intensively in logistics, on roller conveyors and in automated systems. Deflecting pallet skids, or worse, pallet skids that come loose, would be disastrous in such situations. Thanks to its construction, the CB3 Low does not suffer from this. The logistics

Pallet boxes used in production companies or logistics are subjected to heavy use in practice. Forklift transport and chain conveyors in particular present a challenge. The CB3 Low, however, is well equipped for both applications. First of all, there is a particularly robust rib structure above the fork openings - all around the box. This structure serves as a buffer zone to prevent collision damage caused by internal transport equipment - and it works very effectively. In addition, the thick-walled pallet skids are connected to the entire box construction with a generous radius. Finally, the walls are extra thick and the base is fitted with a strong rib structure. All in all, these aspects provide a solid foundation for the most demanding logistics conditions.

The application

The CB3 Low is designed for heavy loads and for use with fragile or pressure-sensitive goods. The CB3 Low is used in mechanical engineering and the metalworking sector, among others. The food industry and meat and fish processing sectors are also very satisfied with the CB3 Low. The box is easy to access and offers optimal protection for the contents. Because the CB3 Low stacks with stacking lugs on the corners, it can be inter-stacked with pool boxes and other boxes commonly used in the food sector and recycling.

Cleaning, hygiene and more

CB3 Low pallet boxes have a completely smooth and flat design. This allows emptying and cleaning to be carried out quickly and effectively. As a result, optimal hygiene can also be guaranteed. The box has free fields for applying logos, numbering or other lettering. A studded area allows stickers to be applied and easily removed. Finally, because the CB3 Low is made from a single material, it can easily be recycled ... although that will be a long time coming.
